With heavy hearts, the family William Marius Sylvestre Sr. announces his passing on October 25, 2026.

William is lovingly survived by Shirley Sylvestre; his daughters Iona (Lloyd) Yew, Tanya (Donald) Chanalquay, and June (Rob) Sylvestre; his sons William E. Sylvestre Jr., Justin (Cora) Sylvestre, Craig (Catherine) Wall, and Jason Billette; his sisters Therese (Joe) Billette, and Marlene Sylvestre; his brothers Philip Sylvestre, and Abraham (Francine) Sylvestre; his grandchildren Chris Sylvestre, Robert Sylvestre, Robin Yew, Regan Yew, Billie-Jo Sylvestre, Marcus Chinalquay, William “Buckies” Sylvestre, Dylan Sylvestre, River Sylvestre, Isabella Durant, Damian Durant, Daya Durant, Juanita Sylvestre, Juanisha Sylvestre, Tennielle Sylvestre, Kayleigh Rae Sylvestre, Nason Nezcroche, Nataya Nezcroche, Nevion Nezcroche, Jayden Billette, Jerrick Billette, and Jared Billette; his great-grandchildren Michayle Sylvestre, Alyse Woods-Sylvestre, Maria Sylvestre, Daxton Sylvestre, Sienna Sylvestre, Craig Sylvestre, Ryder Sylvestre, Bentley Sylvestre, Tatum Sylvestre, Amelia Sylvestre, Bailey Sylvestre, Emerson Sylvestre, Camryn Sylvestre, and Brock Sylvestre; and his numerous nieces and nephews.

William is predeceased by his parents Francis & Couronne Sylvestre; his brothers Felix Sylvestre, Alfred Sylvestre, Jimmy Sylvestre, Louis Sylvestre, Emilian Morin, and Magloire Benjamin; his sisters Annette Noltcho, Rosaline Chanalquay, Claire Sylvestre, Irene Sylvestre, and Marie Louise Sylvestre.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026 at the St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church in Dillon, SK. Interment will follow the service at the Dillon Roman Catholic Cemetery.
