Obituary

Bill could do anything from fixing a car, to mending clothes, to building a house from the ground up. If it was broken, he could fix it. If it was lost, he could find it. He saw every challenge as an opportunity to learn a new skill.

Bill was born in Drumheller, Alberta and lived there most of his life. He was an electrician by trade, but spent the majority of his career working at the Drumheller Penitentiary for 33 years. Bill was a proud member of the Branch 22 Legion in Drumheller and served as President and a member of the Honour Guard. Bill was an avid golfer and shuffleboard player. After retirement, he and the love of his life Catherine, moved to Sechelt, B.C. and wintered in Yuma, Arizona. After 20 years on the coast Bill and Catherine moved back to the prairies and settled in Saskatoon to be closer to their daughter and her family. Bill's greatest treasure in life was his family, and he is now reunited in heaven with his wife Catherine and son Nathan.

Bill leaves to mourn his daughter Erin (Cory) Choponis; grandchildren Morgan and Matthew Choponis, and Brady, Chloe and Reid Braunberger; brother Roy (Carol) Braunberger; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In honour of Bill's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
