The family of Violet *Vi* Unruh of Saskatoon and originally of Leask are saddened to announce her passing on Sunday September 27 at Sunnyside Adventist Care Centre. She was 94 years of age.

Throughout her life she had also resided in: Erwood, Waseca, Yorkton, Lashburn, Lloydminster, Swift Current and for the past 40+ years had called Saskatoon home.

Vi's interests and enjoyment came from reading, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles but primarily from her family. Her faith, trust and hope in Jesus Christ was evident, not so much in word but in day to day life. She had a kind, caring and compassionate heart that seemed to resonate with the very young and with those who were hurting.

She is survived by her 2 children: Douglas (Betty Ann) and Anita (Warren) Lemke and 2 grandsons Tyler Lemke and Derek (Hannah) Lemke. Also survived by sister-in-law Darlene Klassen, brother-in-law Henry (Hank) Peters along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was predeceased by husband Raymond (Ray), parents Andrew and Mary Barsi, brother Alfred (Andy) Barsi. Also predeceased by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and other relatives, too many to acknowledge.

There will be no formal public service for Vi. A private family graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
