With heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Terry Batty, age 84, at St. Paul’s Hospital, on April 18,2026.

Terry was born in Silton Saskatchewan. He met the love of his life Anne in Assiniboia in the early 1960s and they married in Rockglen on October 24,1962.

They had two sons Keith (Eroca) and William.

They had many chapters early on which eventually led them to settle in the Rosetown-Marriott area.

Terry was a well respected, hardworking Municipal Foreman for the RM of Marriott for several decades before retiring in 2003

He cherished time spent visiting with family, dear friends and acquaintances along with various hobbies he had throughout his meaningful life.

He will be deeply missed by his family, but our hearts are comforted and will heal knowing he was met with a huge hug and kiss from Anne who predeceased him in July 2007.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Rosetown RCMP, Rosetown Emergency Services (Fire/Ambulance) and Medical Staff at the Rosetown Health Centre along with the ICU Medical Unit (Doctors, Nurses, Support Staff) at St. Paul’s Hospital Saskatoon. All of those people involved with his care in the final days were very supportive and immensely comforting.

To honour Terry’s wishes, there will be no services.
