Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Tracy Lee Strange Rosnes announces her passing on April 6, 2026 at the age of 62 in Saskatoon Saskatchewan after a long battle with heart disease.

Tracy was born on January 5, 1964 in Athens Georgia and raised in Gordo Alabama. Tracy got her masters from the University of Montevallo and later got her bachelors from the University of Alabama (Roll Tide), which she later specialized in Audiology and Speech Pathology. Tracy moved to Canada in the summer of 1985 with her adored cat Sarah where she later opened her own Audiology practice.

Tracy had a love for shoes and purses which showed through her lovely collection. She also had numerous hobbies and passions including knitting, crocheting and beadwork to explore her inner artist. Tracy was also an accomplished pianist and enjoyed learning numerous musical instruments.

Tracy was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Warren and Virginia Sanders, Paternal grandparents Cecil and Helen (Nana) Booth, Mother Doris Sanders, Father James(Jimmy) Booth and her Aunt Dixie Faye Sanders. Tracy is survived by her son Spencer Rosnes (Her special daughter in law Naomi Koch and grand pup Simba), Sister Jennifer Collins (Brother in Law Harry Collins), Step Mother Margo Booth, Brothers Matt and John, First Cousin Annie Sue Sanders (known as Aunt Susie), Second Cousin Virginia Marie Sanders (known as Gina), Special Cousin Sherri Moore and Special Aunt Patricia Hickman (known as Aunt Patty from Gordo Alabama).

The family of Tracy would like to extend a special thank you to Wanda Aamodt and her staff at Respite Care in Martensville Saskatchewan for taking such wonderful care of Tracy during her time there until her passing. As well as a special thank you to the staff at Cherished Memories Funeral Home in Martensville Saskatchewan for their wonderful and compassionate services during this difficult time.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation.
