Obituary

It is with deep love and heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Tammy Lynn Reinhardt after a sudden illness. Tammy is lovingly remembered by her husband Todd, brothers Tim (Lisa) and Steven (Donna-Lee), close cousin Donna, nieces and nephews Railene (Mike), Daniel (Jenny), Hayden (Ashley), and Hannah (Dallas), parents-in-laws Grant and Joan, and brother-in-law Lee, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tammy was predeceased by her parents, Ruth and Jake Reihl.

Tammy was raised and educated in Indian Head, Saskatchewan. She graduated from the University of Regina in 1997 with degrees in Psychology and Physical Activity Studies.

She was an adventurous spirit who lived in many places including Regina, Calgary, Happy Valley Labrador, Moosonee Ontario, Norway House Manitoba, Winnipeg, and finally Saskatoon/Martensville.

It was while she lived in Norway House where she met her beloved Husky/Shephard, Buddy.

Tammy had many roles related to her studies during her short life. She was a Recreation Therapist at Career Headways in Regina, Mobility Specialist for Access Calgary, Early Childhood Educator for Mother Goose in Happy Valley, Office Assistant for Northern College/Northern Store in Moosonee, Adult Educator for Norway House Cree Nation, Recreation Manager for River Park Gardens in Winnipeg, fundraiser for Muscular Dystrophy Canada and lastly Recreation Director for Samaritan Place in Saskatoon.

In 2012, fate introduced Tammy to Todd and they began their life adventures together in Martensville. Tammy and Todd were fortunate to have many memories created on holiday adventures across Canada and abroad. Just recently they completed a bucket-list trip to Europe on a river cruise.

Tammy loved to help, volunteer and care for others. Her passion was tending to plants and flowers with her two very green thumbs. Tammy’s strength, compassion and unwavering spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate to have known her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tammy’s memory to the charity of your choice.

Cherished Memories is honoured to have been entrusted with Tammy's care and arrangements.

A celebration of life will take place on July 17. The family will share more details when plans are in place.
