Tammy Patricia Birns

With deep love and sorrow, we share the news of Tammy’s passing on Sunday, August 24, 2025. Tammy was genuine, warm, and truly kind. She was slow to anger, quick to forgive, compassionate, and fiercely loyal. She was the nucleus of her family and its loudest cheerleader, proudly supporting her kids and grandkids in all their many passions. She loved flowers and gardening. She had a never-ending list of books to read and was always sharing her reading recommendations. And she loved to travel – she cherished her memories of traveling the world with her family.

Tammy will be held close in the hearts and memories of her husband Ron, her daughters Erin (Steven) and Jamie (Kevin), her daughter-in-law Gayna, her granddaughters Adie and Lily, her lifelong friend Pat Laberge, and many other beloved family members and friends. Her sweet pup Vegas will never forget her.

Tammy was predeceased by her son, Michael. We know that he was waiting to hold her in the gentlest of bear hugs and now she can rest.

She was remarkable and she will be forever loved and forever missed.

A private celebration of Tammy’s life will be held in her memory.
