It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Hiller, who left us peacefully on October 23, 2025.
Susan leaves behind her devoted husband Warren, her cherished children Cheryl and Jeff, and her beloved granddaughters Jordyn, Tag, Messa, and Sydney, who brought endless joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers Ed, Jerry, and Henry, and was predeceased by her parents Mary and Peter.
Born in Mundare, Alberta, and raised on a family farm nearby, Susan carried with her a strong sense of family, kindness, and creativity throughout her life. After spending a few years in Edmonton and a decade in Winnipeg, she settled with Warren in Saskatoon and Shields, Saskatchewan, where she spent the past 43 years surrounded by friends, family and the beauty of the prairies. She especially loved her winters in Indio, California, where she enjoyed happy hour with Warren and their friends, line dancing, and window shopping.
A gifted and creative spirit, Susan found great happiness in spending time with her grandchildren - playing, crafting, scrapbooking, and baking from boxes with love and laughter. Her passion for beauty and creativity shone through her many hobbies: tending to her plants and flower gardens, designing beautiful centerpieces, and creating art through pressed flowers, painted cards, encaustic work, and jewelry making.
Though no formal service will be held, Susan’s family invites those who knew and loved her to remember her in their own special ways - through shared stories, moments of laughter, and the creative spirit she inspired in others. Donations can also be made in her honor to https://www.cancerfoundationsask.ca/donate/
Susan will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her warmth, creativity, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends.
Cherished Memories is honoured to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Susan Hiller.
