It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Stewart "Stew" Gardiner on March 12, 2026, at the age of 63.

Stew will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his devoted wife of 42 years, Donna Gardiner (Tsul); his children, Darryl (Jody), Jeremy, Emjay (Troy), Krystal (Eldon), Blaysen (Lexi), and Mervin (Katie Roy); and by his cherished grandchildren, Hunter Jr., Mason, Brent Roy, Emma, Aaliyah, Hannah, Tannis, Faythe (Zoey), Dayna, Elizabeth, and Bailey Roy.

He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Gardiner, Terrance (Leona) Gardiner, Mervin (Roxanne) Gardiner, Greg Gardiner, and Ron (Jocelyn) Gardiner; his parents-in-law, Marcel and Therese Laliberte; his special uncle, Mervin (Jean) Lariviere; special aunt, Yvonne Lariviere; special sister, Dawn Ewart (Tsi-Boo); godchild, Michael Daigneault; as well as many beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.

Stew was predeceased by his parents, Antoine and Antoinette Gardiner; his brother, Valmore Gardiner; his grandparents, Leon and Josette Gardiner, Jules and Marguerite McCallum, and Maglare and Philomene Natomagan; his aunts Jean Ewart, Alice Ausland, Evelyn McKay, Elyse Lariviere, Beatrice Caisse, Eleanor Lariviere, and Joyce Lariviere; nieces Candace Laliberte and Colleen Laliberte; nephew Greg Gardiner Jr.; sister-in-law Margaret Laliberte; and many other cherished family members and friends who welcomed him into eternal rest.

The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all who have offered their support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time. Stewart's memory will live on through the many lives he touched and the love he shared so freely.
