In Loving Memory of 

Sheldon Valentine Jabusch

December 22, 1969 – October 8, 2025

Sheldon Valentine Jabusch was born on a stormy winter day, December 22, 1969, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Raised on the family farm, Sheldon grew up surrounded by the land he loved and the values that would shape his life. His childhood was rich with the lessons of country living, and he took great pride in being part of the 4H Beef Club community. The work ethic and integrity he developed in those early years stayed with him throughout his life. Sheldon attended Aberdeen Composite School before embarking on a life full of hard work, family, and deep community ties. He married the love of his life Lisa, and together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and purpose. They were blessed with four children: Amanda (Jessie), Brandon (Maxime), Kristin, and Morgan, and further blessed with grandchildren Ryker, Serayah, Rhys, and Beau. Though his first granddaughter, Sonya, predeceased him, her memory remained close to his heart. Over the years, Sheldon explored various career paths, eventually earning his 1A license and flourishing in the trucking industry. His time with Ray’s Trucking (Q-Line Trucking) brought him fulfillment and pride in his work. Outside of his profession, Sheldon returned to his roots by raising cattle with his son, carrying on the legacy of rural life that meant so much to him. Sheldon was predeceased by his father, Valentin, and granddaughter Sonya. He is survived by his children and grandchildren; his mother, Connie; sisters Roxanne (Darryl) and Denise (John); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. His memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and love shared by all who knew him.

A Come and Go Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Cherished Memories Funeral Chapel, 591 Centennial Drive North, Martensville. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 627 Taylor Street East, Saskatoon, with Rev. Peter Knelson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Bergheim Lutheran Cemetery, with lunch to follow at St. Paul’s Bergheim Lutheran Church. For those unable to attend, a livestream link will be made available here prior to Sheldon's service. 

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sheldon’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Bergheim Church at stpaulsbergheim12@gmail.com.

Sheldon's legacy is one of love, perseverance, and unshakable roots. He will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever cherished.
