Shawn David Pellerin was born on November 6, 1965, in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan to parents Dave and Theresa. He grew up with his siblings on the family farm where he played outdoors and attended school in Cut Knife.

In 1985 he met Glenna and followed her to Saskatoon where he worked while she attended university. Eventually they moved to Martensville, got married and raised their family. Shawn enjoyed time working on projects for his home and yard. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his friends and family. If he knew someone needed or wanted something, he would figure out how to make it happen. He would tackle building, sewing, cooking, gardening, welding, fixing, or cleaning, there just didn’t seem to be a challenge he wouldn’t tackle. He especially loved creating a yard with his family which is filled with his hard work and creativity. He loved having friends over for fires and card games. Shawn was so proud of his children and showed his love by helping them with their vehicles, playing cards with them, and going hunting, fishing, and making sausage with them. He passed his knowledge, skills, and love for the outdoors to his children.

Shawn just turned 60 when he began struggling with his health and declined quickly. He was predeceased by his parents Dave and Theresa, and his niece Krista.

Shawn is survived by his wife Glenna, sons Brandt and Darrien, and daughter Carmelle. He also leaves behind his siblings; Elaine (Barry) Ducherer, Larry (Sandra) Pellerin, Laurie (LaVerne) Ducherer, Patty (Chris) Willis, and a huge extended family.

During COVID Shawn adopted a rescue puppy which filled his life with love and she will be forever waiting for him to come home.

There will be a Celebration of Shawn's Life on January 29, 2026, at the Martensville Northridge Community Center, at 1:00 p.m. For those who are unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed and can be attended virtually via the following link
