With heavy hearts, the family of Shalayah Precious Montgrand announce her passing on May 8, 2026. Shalayah will be lovingly remembered for the warmth she brought to those around her, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

Shalayah is lovingly survived by her son Lambert; her sisters Shaunna (Wesley), Fawn, Reagan (Jordon), Shalayna, Brianna, and Shaundah (Matayo); her brothers Ernest, Kyle, and Sean; her grandma Caroline Montgrand; her nieces Lizah, Aylah, Maeve, Delilah, and Teara; her nephews Shane, Hendrex, Tearen, and Dimitri; and her numerous aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Shalayah is predeceased by her parents Eva & Henry; her siblings Brian, and Baby Shalayah; her grandparents Eleanore, Jean Marie, and Agnes Montgrand; and she is reunited with many beloved family members who passed before her.

Shalayah's Wake will be held from Wednesday, May 13, 2026 to Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Shaundah’s Residence (Apt. 9B Morin Ave.) in Turnor Lake, SK.

Shalayah's Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 2:00pm at Our Lady of Lourdes in Turnor Lake, SK. Interment to follow at the Turnor Lake Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Payton Young Sean, Kyle, Curtis, Steve, Matayo, Aaron, Tyrant, Tyrese, Jordan, Wesley, Patrick, and her best friend Payton Young.
