Sean David Ashley

Sean David Ashley, 49, passed away suddenly on September 23, 2025, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Born on April 25, 1976, in Sept-Îles, Quebec, Sean lived a life marked by passion for his craft and deep devotion to those he loved.

A gifted executive chef, Sean brought creativity and heart to every kitchen he worked in. His culinary talents were matched only by the warmth he extended to others—whether through a perfectly prepared meal or a generous gesture. Known for his big heart and dedication to excellence, Sean left an indelible mark on colleagues and patrons alike.

Sean’s greatest pride was his family. He shared his life with his beloved common-law partner, Chrissie Adam and his daughters, Chloe and Ava Ashley, who were the light of his life.

He is also remembered by his brother Kevin Ashley and wife Adrienne, and by his sister Kelly Marchildon and husband Serge Marchildon as well as many nieces and nephews. Sean was predeceased by his parents, Charles (Fred) Ashley and Camilla Ashley, as well as his baby girl Emma Ashley.

May Sean’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire all who were touched by his kindness and talent. A Service will be held on October 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cherished Memories Funeral Home, 591 Centennial Dr. N. in Martensville, SK.
