Raymond P. Kavanagh was born on June 8, 1949, in Saskatoon and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on April 2, 2026, at the age of 76. 

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Darlene; his children Kevin, Kurtis, and Kelly; his grandchildren Devin, Jet, Kaitlyn, and Hayden; as well as his sisters Aleta and Annie, brother William and many nieces and nephews. Ray will be lovingly remembered for his hard work ethic, his humour, and his generosity by all that knew him.

Ray was the proud owner/operator of the family run business, Kavanagh Trucking, for over 40+ years. Ray loved trucking, working on trucks, and being in his shop. He leaves a proud legacy in the trucking community.

Ray was always willing to lend and hand or share a story with those around him, but especially for his children. He was a devoted father and grandfather, always supporting his family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Porteous Lodge for the care he received there. 

A celebration of life will be held in early June with more details shared closer to the date.
