Obituary

Ralph Herbert Ebach, born February 25, 1950, passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 76.

Ralph was born in the Rabbit Lake area and spent most of his life in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. In recent years, he made his home in Saskatoon with his beloved wife, Tera, and their sons. His life was rooted deeply in family, community, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tera (Hochbaum), and their sons, Ralph (RJ) and William. He also leaves behind a daughter Tammy Mayer (sons Regan, Tony and Clinton) and children from his first marriage to Gail LaRose: Darryl (son Diesel), Darcy (son Madden), and Devon (daughters Taylor and Camryn). Ralph took great pride in his role as a father and grandfather, and his love for his family was evident in everything he did.

Ralph is survived by his siblings: Elsie Sack; Wilfred (Wendy); Norman, Bruce, sister-in law Judy and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hazel Paterson and Frank Ebach along with several siblings and loved ones: Alvin , Jimmy, Larry, his brother Norman's partner Sandy and his brother-in-law Willie Sack. He held each of them close in his heart and cherished the many memories they shared.

Known for his passion for fast cars, Ralph always had something powerful in the garage. His most recent pride and joy was a Dodge Hellcat, which he enjoyed racing at SIR. He found excitement and camaraderie at the track, where he shared many memorable moments with friends. Outside of racing, Ralph also enjoyed spending time with loved ones watching UFC fights, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and connection.

Ralph will be remembered as a kind and generous man who truly cared for others. He had a unique way of seeing the good in people and was always willing to lend a helping hand, especially to those who needed it most. His compassion, loyalty, and unwavering love for his family will leave a lasting legacy.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but never forgotten.

We will be hosting a celebration of life service on June 19 at the Battleford's Legion from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.
