With heavy hearts, Peter's family announces his sudden passing on Sept 19, 2026.

Peter was an amazing son (to Otto and Lynn), brother (to Brian, Robin and Jean), father (to Adam and wife Laura), grandpa (to Hailey and Aiden), as well as a cherished friend to so many.

Born March 10, 1957 in Vancouver, BC, Peter spent most of his life living in Saskatoon. He attended Evan Hardy High School, where he was a star in many sports, including hockey, baseball and wrestling.

Peter played 2 years with the Saskatoon Blades, patrolling the blue line as a tenacious defenceman. He was a devastating hitter and was quick to step up and defend his teammates when called upon.

He owned numerous businesses in his life, including Bike and Blade on Idylwyld Drive and he was the founder of the Saskatchewan Women's Chronicle, a trailblazing magazine that highlighted amazing stories of some of Saskatchewan's most accomplished women.

He found his true calling as a Financial Advisor, where he worked tirelessly for his numerous clients, becoming a trusted part of their lives with his sage guidance for over 25 years.

His many joys included golfing, cooking, traveling, watching his beloved Boston Bruins and Pittsburgh Steelers and welcoming friends and neighbours to "The Lounge" in his garage for many wonderful chats.

A memorial service will be held Oct 9, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Cherished Memories, 591 Centennial Dr. N. in Martensville.
