It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we share the passing of our beloved mother Nola, on March 29th at the age of 88.                           

Nola was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and business owner. 

She played a central part in creating the magical and memorable moments woven throughout all our lives.

Mom’s two loves were her family and home of almost 60 years at Emma Lake. Summers at Emma were a special time, filled with laughter, Sunday brunches, late nights around the fire, fishing, boat tours, and maybe a little Neil Diamond.

Mom was the last person to leave the nightly trivia game and the first person to turn to when anything was needed; she made everyone feel welcome and important.

A classy, smart and authentic human, with a quick sense of humour and a kind heart; a generous soul filled with unconditional love.

Mom was predeceased by her husband of 67 years (Tom), just a short 10 months ago.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, David, Camille (Greg), and Jason (Donna); her grandchildren, Cameron, Alexis, Riley, Keegan (Crystal, Eli) and Kaylen (Tim).

Our mother, in some ways, was really the greatest love of our lives.

Our biggest fan, supporter, advocate and friend. THAT SHE WAS!! It was an honour and a privilege to call you mom. Rest well.
