Neil Wig

Neil passed away amid the sunset, which he photographed at his riverside acreage home.

He was the beloved son of Rose & Norman Wig (both deceased), younger and only brother of Patrick Wig, brother-in-law of Melinda Rau-Wig, uncle of Bryony & Kyle Wig.  Family and loyalty meant the world to Neil, and he held a special place in the hearts of his cousins Jennie Keating in Casper, WY., and Nancy Beaulieu in Swift Current. Other valued family members included friends Darren and his wife Bonnie and their 3 children, Troy and his two children, and Glenn Wig whose shop he visited regularly.  

Those who wish to help us remember Neil are warmly welcomed to a Memorial Service for him on Saturday, 2nd December, 11am at Cherished Memories Funeral Services & Crematory, Inc., or on Tuesday, 5th December 11am for Neil’s interment at Hillside Cemetery in Medicine Hat. 

We would like to thank especially Glenn and Jodie Wig and their family, and Val and Alan Ballard, of Saskatoon, and Darren Garrett of Radisson for their invaluable help and support as we work to finalize his estate.
