With heavy hearts, the family of Mitchell Leon Desjarlais announces his passing on September 21, 2026. Mitchell will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all those who knew and loved him.

Mitchell is lovingly survived by his grandmother Albertine Desjarlais; his mother Maureen Desjarlais; his father James Sylvestre; his common-law partner Sommer Parenteau; his children Sonny Pelly, Blaze Desjarlais, and Mia Desjarlais; his sisters Giselle Maurice, Michelle Desjarlais, Michelle Desjarlais, Melissa Desjarlais, and Marissa Sylvestre (Emilio); his brothers Joey Kilgore, and Miles Morrison; his numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins; and his special friends Biz, Bear, Justin, Candace, Jesse, Richard, Sonny, Philip, Kenneth, Tyler, and Cali. 

Mitchell is predeceased by his great grandparents Toby and Cecile Byette; his grandfather Etienne Desjarlais; his grandmother Monique Sylvestre; his grandfather Albert Sylvestre; his aunties Linda Desjarlais and Janice Desjarlais; his uncles Thomas Desjarlais and Ivan Desjarlais; and his cousins Leon Desjarlais, Jowel Desjarlais, and Noel Desjarlais.

A Wake will be held from Friday, September 25, 2026 until Monday, September 28, 2026 in St. George's Hill, SK.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, September 28, 2026 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Dillon, SK. Interment will follow the service at the St. George's Hill Cemetery.
