With heavy hearts, the family of Marie Paulette Lemaigre announce her passing on March 6, 2026, at the age of 69. Marie will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

Marie is lovingly survived by her daughter Lyris Lemaigre (Dale Janvier); her grandchildren Lyatia, Layah, Landon, Lana, Lanaya, Trey, Treyon & Lyle Jr., Aaliyah, Letisha, Sophia, Xavier, Layton, Ava, and Tristian; her great-grandchild Logan; her sisters Yvette Fontaine and Jeannie Lemaigre; her nieces Jennifer and Tammy Lemaigre; her nephews Dale, Trevor, and Jamie Lemaigre; and her best friend Nora Janvier. 

Marie is predeceased by her parents Jean and Blandine Lemaigre; and her brothers Eugene, Lawerence, Ivan, and Maurice. 

A wake service for Marie will be held from Sunday, March 8, 2026 to Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 103 Sunset Drive at Clearwater River Dene Nation. 

A funeral service for Marie will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 2:00PM at Our Lady of Visitation Catholic Church in La Loche, SK.
