Lyle Clifford Dunwald

February 5, 1950 ~ July 18, 2023

Lyle passed away peacefully at St.Paul’s hospital after a brief battle with cancer.  Lyle was predeceased by his mother Dorthea Dunwald and father Clifford Dunwald as well as 2 infant sisters. Lyle was born in Maple Creek, the only surviving triplet.

He received his education at Golden Prairie before graduating from the U of S with a B.Sc. (Distinction). Lyle was a teacher, farmer and business partner with his family. Although he struggled at times with clinical depression, Lyle lived a rewarding life, remembered by his brother Wayne Dunwald, sister-in-law Laura Dunwald and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Maple Creek at a later date.  Any donations in Lyle’s memory can be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
