It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lorraine Alice Iron, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 57 years.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Larry Iron; her children, Dale (Kate), Keith, Donovan (Shanna), Kerri (Andrew), and Kytha; and her stepchildren, Alphonse, Jori, and Rodney. She is also remembered by her grandchildren, Daxon, AJ, Dalyn, Keith Jr., Keithan, Kacy, Desiree, Donovan Jr., Samara, Emmett, Kara-Lee, Kai-Lena, and Dalena.

She is also survived by her siblings Charlie (Jackie), Maggie (Rob), Sandra (Myron), and Richard (Maureen), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lorraine was predeceased by her daughter, Desire Faith Iron; her parents, Lena and Francois; her grandchildren, Kassie and Kaizen; her brother, George; her mother-in-law, Flora; and numerous uncles and aunties.

A Wake will be held at Cole Bay Hall from Sunday, April 26 to Tuesday, April 28, 2026. A Prayer Service will take place on Monday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m., led by Yvonne St. Germaine.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Cole Bay Hall, with Father Francis Reddy Mondeddu, MSFS officiating. Interment will follow at Cole Bay Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Kurtis, Randy, Troy, Chun, JR, and Nathan.Honorary Pallbearers include Louise, Garry, Roberta (Wesley), ML Dialysis Unit, St. Paul’s Staff, Andre (Sanzee), Lorraine (Johnny), Maureen, Pat, Jaida, Teresa, Diane, Cheyenne (Shaggy), Jake (Nina), Standford, Audrey, Val, and Les.

Lorraine will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
