It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta Edna Janvier, who left us on August 31, 2026, at the age of 53.
Loretta will be lovingly remembered by her partner, Douglas Montgrand; her sons, Terrance Janvier and Terry Lee Janvier; her daughters, Tarise Janvier and Tara Janvier; and her son by heart, Aydren Lemaigre.
She leaves behind a beautiful family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her grandchildren Brylah, Bryson, Brylanna, Wynter, Talayah, Lazayris, Tariq and Tavien.
Loretta is also lovingly survived by her parents, Alfred and Pauline Lemaigre; her grandmother, Pelagie Janvier; her sisters, Becky, Donna, Vicky and Allison; her brothers, Bernie, Myles, Donny and Rodney; her sister-in-law, Barbara Montgrand; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by her aunties, Annette (Archie), Yvette, Jeannie and Virginia, and her uncles, Elmer, Eddie, Allister, Hermes, Norman, Richard and Dustin (Bonsai).
Loretta held a special place in the hearts of her best friends, Randy, Lindsey, Linda, Pauline (Mollyann) and Violet, who shared friendship, laughter, memories and many special moments throughout her life. She will also be lovingly remembered by countless other family members, friends and loved ones whose lives she touched.
Loretta was predeceased by her grandparents, Jean and Blandine Lemaigre; her grandfather, Pascal Janvier; her uncles, Laurence, Maurice, Ivan L., Eugene, Karl, Kevin, David and Ivan J.; her auntie, Paulette Lemaigre; her brothers, Bradley and Nelson; her sister, Norma Jean; her nephew, Ayden Lemaigre; and her cousins, Jim Janvier, Archie Jr. Janvier, Kalwyn Herman and Lyndon Janvier.
Loretta's life was surrounded by family, friendship and love. The memories she created with those closest to her will remain cherished and will continue to bring comfort to all who knew and loved her. Though she is no longer with us, her memory will live on through her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
Wake: The Wake will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at the residence of Alfred & Pauline, 108 Sunset Drive, Clearwater River.
Celebration of Life: A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Visitation Roman Catholic Church in La Loche, Saskatchewan.
