Lisa Michelle Beecroft
July 19, 1967 — April 18, 2024
Lisa Michelle Beecroft, age 56, passed away peacefully with family by her side on April 18,2024 from a short but well fought battle with cancer. She was born on July 19,1967 in Chatham, Ontario to Margaret LaPlante and Vincent Beecroft. She was the most incredible loving mother and an equally as good sister and aunt to her 2 nieces and nephew.
Lisa was the most loving and compassionate person and she radiated kindness and warmth in such a way strangers were always drawn to talk with her or ask her questions if they needed help which she always happily obliged. She loved going on walks, drinking coffee, coloring on her IPad and spending time with her family and friends. Lisa was always on the go and ready to take on any weekend adventure her daughter dreamed up for the two of them. She also loved attending her home church The Neighbourhood Church and attending her ladies bible study.
Lisa was an incredible example of strength and independence raising a daughter as a single mom on her own and doing the most exceptional job. She was selfless and was always exuding gratitude. Her family and friends would often say why you, of all people would be handed such an awful disease which she would always respond why not me. Through all of this her faith remained untouched. Her pastor would always end each service saying we’ve had church, let’s go be the church and she lived that out until her very last day on earth.
Lisa was survived by her daughter Janessa, son in law Michael, her brother Chris, sister in law Jen, 2 nieces Quinn and Ainsley and her nephew Cale as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Her love for them was immeasurable and she will never be forgotten. This is not goodbye, just see you later.
Please join us for a celebration of her life Thursday April 25, 2024 at 1pm at The Neighbourhood Church 233 Pinehouse Drive. In Lieu of flowers there will be donations made to the Hospice Glengarda
