Latham was born August 20, 1938, to Nat and Stella Brossart of Allan, Saskatchewan. He passed away peacefully June 12, 2026, at Glengarda Hospice surrounded by his children.

Latham was raised on the family farm 6 miles SE of Allan. In 1960 he married Donna Lussier of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.

Latham worked as a traffic officer in Moosomin, Saskatchewan, before moving back to Allan to join his father on the family farm. He also worked part time at the Allan Potash mine before taking over the farm full-time. In 1964 he built the family home, and later went on to frame and finish around 30 houses in the Allan area.

Over the years the family grew to 4 sons and 1 daughter. Family was always the most important thing to Latham and Donna. Countless years were spent hauling the kids to music lessons, hockey games and ski trips. Camping trips and vacations made for many family memories.

Latham filled his winter breaks playing Santa Claus at the Midtown Plaza and spending many hours working with wood in the shop. Latham’s love for woodworking grew from building houses to beautiful works of art, wood model cars, unique flowers, and grandmother clocks gifted to family. In 1999 Latham and Donna retired to Saskatoon, spending much of their free time with family, many friends, and travelling the world.

Latham will be forever loved and missed by his beloved wife, Donna, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; his sons, Lyle (Patsy) Brossart, Dean (Pam) Brossart, and Cory (Kelly) Brossart; his daughter, Lana (Nathan) Kwasniewski; and his daughter-in-law, Nadine Brossart; his ten grandchildren: Dustin (Beth) Brossart, Jason (Sarah) Brossart, Michael Brossart, Sarah (Eric) Williams, Justin Brossart, Dillon Brossart, Brayden Brossart, Carter Brossart, Owen Kwasniewski, and Hailey Kwasniewski; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Williams and Julian Williams; his sister, Lorraine Zieler; his brother, Harold (Diane) Brossart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Latham was predeceased by his parents Nat and Stella Brossart, son Kirk Brossart, infant granddaughter Emily Brossart, and brother-in-law Percy Zeiler.

A Celebration of Life for Latham Brossart will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Spirit Parish, 114 Kingsmere Place, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honour Latham's life and memory.
