Dora Kristeen (Bliss) Gobeil

It is with sadness that we say goodbye to Kristeen who was born in McLennan, Alberta to Charles and Pearl (Reed) Bliss and raised with 14 siblings. Her first marriage was to Walter "Raymond" Schaan and they had four boys. Her second marriage was to Leon Damian Gobeil.

Kristeen and Leon loved to travel. Her most memorable trips were to Arizona and Hawaii. They enjoyed time also in their camper van travelling around Western Canada. Kristeen was an avid reader, enjoying "Westerns" in particular. She went berry picking and canned her fruit.

Kristeen will be remembered by her for sons: Kerry (Ann), Noland (Janet), Tim and Patrick (Marilyn); grandchildren Samantha (Zachary) Preece, Emma Schaan, Laura (Justin) Daniels, David Leonard, Joanna Leonard, Laura (Adam) Naaykens, Justin Schaan, Jamie Schaan (Chris Unrau), Trisha Berlinic and Cody Lundgren: Great-grandchildren Othello Preece, Jordan and Riley Daniels, Atlas and Piera Naaykens, Emma Meindertsma, Frank and Lexi Berlinic, Steven, Conner and Angelina Lundgren, Jorja Smith, Jennifer Lundgren-Smith and Serena English.

She was predeceased by grandson Eric Schaan (1996), Raymond Schaan (1997) and Leon Gobeil (2019).

A private graveside memorial service will be held at a later date, at South Hill Cemetery, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
