The family of Kent Allan are heartbroken to share his sudden passing on October 6, 2025.
He was born on April 22, 1970 in Regina, SK. He grew up and was raised in Saskatoon. He met the love of his life Vivian in 1991 and married November 14, 1992. Together, they raised three amazing children, Brittany, Stephanie (Robert) and Lucas (Mary). He was a loving grandfather to his precious grandkids Blake and Amelia. He was also a thoughtful Uncle to Christina and Great Uncle to Emilio and Elijah. He is survived by his parents, Lyle and Joyce Allan and his older brother, Scott.
Kent, as a young boy, enjoyed playing all sports, including hockey and football. As a teenager, he began to enjoy his time at the gym working out and loved building on his natural strength and enjoyed mentoring others. In his adult years, he worked various jobs and spent the last 20 years of his work life at Canada Post until his early retirement.
Kent spent most of his time in the kitchen enjoying and creating using fresh ingredients from his garden, whether that was our beautiful meals at home or baking for any occasion; his gift was shared with everyone. Regardless of where he was, he would light up the room with singing and music. Lyrics correct or not, he would happily create his own.
We will miss his Dad jokes and quotes and forever repeated lines that we will hold dear in our hearts. He was a big man, with an even bigger heart. He spent his last surviving years being the best house husband he could be. He was a chef, and an artist in such as he spent his time taking in the small details and making sure everyone was welcomed and loved.
He will be truly missed by many
