It is with deep sadness that the family of Katherine Reddekopp of Saskatoon, beloved sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023. Katherine was born December 4th, 1932, to John and Margaret (Guenther) Driedger. She was the eldest of six children. She grew up on the family farms near Reinland and Osler. On July 15th, 1951, she married Frank Reddekopp. They farmed near Blumenheim and Osler and later moved to Saskatoon. Katherine is predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Driedger, husband Frank, brother John, sisters Mary and Peggy, an infant son and daughter Nettie Kolbeck. She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Nettie Siemens and Helen Giesbrecht, son Neil (Anne) Reddekopp, son-in-law Kelvin Kolbeck. Grandchildren Kara (Paul) Harder, Alison (Darrin) Halsey, Laura (Justin) Lewis, Matthew (Sophia) Reddekopp and great grandsons, Aiden, Brandon, Thomas, James, Oliver, William, and Henry. Throughout her life Katherine’s love was her family and she also treasured her nieces and nephews, many to whom she opened her home and heart. As well as being a wife and mother Katherine worked at numerous jobs, but her greatest passion was working for The Village Green Furniture Store where she worked and volunteered until the age of 80.

We will miss Katherine’s cabbage rolls, pies, her phone calls, abundance of opinions, and unconditional love.

The family would like to thank St Paul’s Palliative Care Unit for the loving and extraordinary care she was given. Donations in Lieu of Flowers can be made to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation.

We will celebrate the life of Katherine on Friday, November 24th, at 11:00am at Cornerstone Church, 315 Lenore Dr, Saskatoon, SK.

Arrangements entrusted to Cherished Memories Funeral Services, Martensville, SK
