Kalvin Lynn McWatters

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kalvin McWatters, a devoted husband, step-father, father and very loving grandfather. Kalvin was born on January 17, 1968, in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, and left us on April 17, 2025, at the age of 57.

He is predeceased by his father, Wilfred Pattison, and his granddaughter, Ryah La Freniere. Kalvin is remembered by his wife, Tina McWatters; his stepdaughter, Rachelle (Jordan) Denis; his stepson, Riley (Janelle Reiley) La Freniere; his grandson, Tanner La Freniere; and Janayah Reiley. He is also survived by his son, Austin Arbuckle; his daughters, Brittany Arbuckle and Kamiika Monroe; his grandchildren, Christian McWatters and Noah McWatters; and his mother, Patricia McWatters.

Kalvin was known for his kindness, generosity, always lending a helping hand, and most of all the love for his family. His grandchildren were the joy of his life, and he will always be remembered for his camping trips, always having a camp fire going and sweet treats that he always had on hand.

He will be deeply missed, but his memory and love will live on in our hearts. We find comfort in remembering the times we spent with him and we understood his imperfections, as well as knowing that he tried his best to overcome them.

Kalvin’s memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
