With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Johnny Woodward on Sunday, July 20, 2025— a devoted husband, proud father, cherished grandfather, and a man deeply rooted in his Métis heritage.

Johnny was a strong man and a gentle soul. A protector through and through, he carried his culture with pride and treated others with kindness, joy, and unwavering generosity. His heart knew no limits — it held space for his beloved wife, his children, and every one of his grandchildren.

He gave freely, loved deeply, and lived fully. He sang with spirit, danced with joy, and made those around him feel safe, seen, and loved. To be near Johnny was to feel at home. To be loved by him was one of life’s greatest blessings.

He never said goodbye — only see you later.

Until we meet again…Thank you for everything, Johnny.You will always be the greatest man we’ve ever known.
