With heavy hearts and much love, the family of Jerry Janvier announces his passing. Jerry will be lovingly remembered by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind many cherished memories that will forever be held close to the hearts of those who loved him.

Jerry is lovingly survived by his partner, Christine; his children, Mickey, Faron (Desmond), Ashton, and Jessie; and his beloved grandchildren, Mataya, Alicia, Diondre, Draeden, Farianna, Drayson, Destiny, Frayah, Draven, Luke, Lathan, Jazdyn, Jesiah, and Emery.

He will also be dearly missed by his mother, Flora Herman; his sisters, Doris (Harvey), Rana, Renee, and Rolanda; and his brothers, Keith, Randy, Ricky, Rodi, and Ryan.

Jerry is also lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Alexina (Lester), Celestine (Darcy), Ruby (Allister), and Laurie; his brothers-in-law, Anderson (Sandra) and Graham (Therese); and his uncle, Jean Marie.

He leaves behind his dear friends, Julius Park, Walter Park, Vincent Janvier, and Ronnie Lemaigre, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Jerry was predeceased by his father, Marcel Janvier; his grandparents, Pierre and Flora Herman; his brother, Ramsey Janvier; his special sister, Sadie Lemaigre; his great-niece, Jaylie Herman; his nephew, Kim Herman; his auntie, Dora Courone; his uncle, Tarcise; and his in-laws, George and Rosalie Janvier, Victor, Arthur, Irene, and Huguette.

Jerry will be remembered with love, missed beyond words, and forever held close in the hearts of his family and friends.

Wake Services

Wake services will be held at Christine’s Residence, 914 Sylvestre Street, La Loche, Saskatchewan, beginning Tuesday, October 13, 2026, and continuing through Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Funeral Service

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Visitation Roman Catholic Church in La Loche, Saskatchewan, with Father Doss officiating.

Pallbearers: Mickey, Jessie, Ashton, Keith, Randy, Ricky, Rodi, Ryan, Walter, Julius, and Vincent.

Following the service, Jerry will be laid to rest at La Loche Cemetery.

May Jerry rest in peace, surrounded by the love of those who have gone before him, and may the memories he leaves behind bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
