It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jana Sasakamoose on May 11, 2025, at the young age of 22.
Jana was a bright light in the lives of those who knew and loved her — a kind soul with a generous heart, a gentle spirit, and a smile that could brighten any room. Her presence brought joy, and her memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and community.
A wake will be held this evening at the Ahtahkakoop Band Hall. The funeral and interment will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Ahtahkakoop Cemetery.
