Ida was born September 18, 1952, in Saskatoon, SK, to Alton and Helen Ewart. She was the youngest of 2 children. Ida grew up in Saskatoon in her younger years before settling and raising her two boys, Wayne and Ray, in Naicam, SK. She loved the farm life. She worked numerous jobs that she enjoyed. Later in life she met her partner, George Huot, and his daughters, and moved to Saskatoon, SK. She loved her flowers, gardening, paint by numbers, and diamond art. She passed suddenly on July 7 in Saskatoon.

She leaves to mourn her sons: Wayne (Betty) Hagen, and Ray (Vanita Phoenix) Hagen.

Grandchildren: Aaron (Lisa) Hagen, Samantha (Craig) Snelgrove, Tyler (Coreen Horbin) Hagen, and Jessica White.

Great grandchildren: Sawyer, Anastasia, and Payton Snelgrove.

George’s daughters: Laurie (Darcy) Greif, Bobbi (Mark) Renner & Family, and Lindy (Trent) Sander & Family.

Numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her partner George Huot, and her parents Alton & Helen Ewart.

As per Ida’s wishes, there will be a private family funeral at a later date. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
