Grant Frederick Harris

Grant Frederick Harris was born July 1, 1964 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Proud of his upbringing, “I feel bad for kids that weren’t raised on a farm”. Predeceased by his parents Ronnie and Connie. He leaves behind; his brother, Murray (Chris); his 2 daughters, Quinn and Megan (“they’re so pretty”), and their mother Loretta (high school sweetheart and often “my old lady”).

Grant is best remembered as an animal lover and Master cook. Known for never ending ingredients. Just when you thought dinner was ready, he’d add a can of beans, and soup, and mushrooms, and…every meal ended as a stew or casserole.

He was a collector of coins, stamps and guitars. He skied almost every hill in Western Canada. Some of his favourite things; nibs, peanuts in shells, building things (fans), cartoons (Family Guy), cigarettes, music, dry ice explosions, burning things (tvs), being naked, animals, more animals and a good laugh. That said, of most importance, Grant was a world renowned repairman. “Fixer of everything”. It was imperative that every little thing be saved, because God knows he may need it, “What happened to the piece of string that was next to the phone for the last year? I was about to use it.” Ha. Especially sweet was that he shared his birthday with his youngest daughter. July 1st. The whole country celebrated. Gone to a sweet place, reunited with loved ones, never to be forgotten.
