Gilbert Valentine Weimer, was born February 14, 1951 at St. Paul's hospital in Saskatoon to Walter and Eustine Weimer. The youngest of 6 siblings, he was the baby of the family and never stopped acting like it! Lovingly referred to as Grumpy by his family, had a varied career, spanning many industries and provinces, from BC to Manitoba. Finally settling in the house he built in 1983 on the South Saskatchewan river.

Grumpy is survived by his sister Clara Brodkorb, his lovely wife, Loretta, their children, Blair (Michelle), Shaun (Jackie) and Trisha (Brad) Schultz, and grandchildren Braydon, Brennen, Kalla, Sadie Weimer, and Buster, Huxley, Johann Schultz.

All are invited to attend the funeral mass at 11am on February 14, at St. Francis Xavier Parish.
