With heavy hearts, the family of George Joseph Campbell announce his passing on June 23, 2026, at the age of 96.
George is lovingly remembered by his loving wife Mary Rose Campbell; his children Archie (Linda), Frankie (Margaret), Marlene (Ernest), Yolanda, and Ruby (Billy); his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; his adopted grandchildren Chrissy Campbell, and Alex Campbell; his godchildren Hilda Apesis, Sheldon Janvier, Nathan Dawatsar, Margaret Aubichon, and Connie Wolverine; his sister Marie Campbell; his brother Jean Campbell (Therese); and his numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
George is predeceased by his father Alexander Campbell; his mother Flora Campbell; his stepmother Cecilia Campbell; his brothers Frank Campbell (Elizabeth), and Ambrose Dore (Victoria); his sisters Ernestine Campbell, and Christine Campbell (Garner); his grandson Lein Wolverine; his godmother Rosa Roy; his godchild Ida Paul; his sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws; his father/mother-in-law Archie & Lucy Lariviere; and he was raised by his late Uncle Raphael Campbell (Melanie Campbell).
A Wake will be begin on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the William Apesis Band Hall in Patuanak, SK.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m at the St. Louis Parish Church in Patuanak, SK, with Father Francis Reddy Mondeddu officiating. Interment to follow at the Patuanak Roman Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Chrissy, Alex, Eric, Randie, Mason, Ian, Isaac, and Billie-Anne.
Honorary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Dad.
Our Dad was a humble man who leaves the world better than he found it. Who has never lacked appreciation of Earth’s Beauty or failed to express it; who looked for the best in others and gave the best he had. Thank you, Dad, for the many blessing years.
On July 2, 2026, Mom and Dad would have celebrated their 70th Anniversary.
