Obituary

Frank was born on the family farm by Meath Park, Saskatchewan. He was the third child of Jan and Mary Senga. He attended school in Meath Park and in recent months was quick to tell all his care givers about the mile and a half he had to walk every day to get there. Frank was mechanically inclined, with a wholehearted interest in Fords! In 1966 he moved to Saskatoon to work for Dominion Motors, which later became Jubilee Ford, where he worked until retirement.

32 years ago, Frank joined a dance class to “get some exercise”. While there he met the most beautiful woman in the world, Louise McWhirter. Their love for Old-time music, dancing, time at the cabin and fishing grew into a lasting and happy companionship.

Declining physical and mental health necessitated him spending the last 2 years in supportive care. First at Trinity Manor and the last 4 weeks of his life in palliative care at the Glengarda Hospice. Both places offered kind and compassionate care for Frank and his family. Their wholistic approach of honoring body, mind and Spirit was truly appreciated. His faith was always an important part of his life. This was a comfort to him to the end.

Frank was predeceased by his parents Jan and Mary, older brothers, Peter and Charlie, younger brother Louis and sister Kay. Sister-in-law Hilda. Louis’ partner Gwen. Nephew- Raymond. And 2 special cousins Jo and Ralph.

Frank is survived by; Louise and her family; 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, + 2 on the way.

Brother and sister-in-law Larry and Brenda. 7 nieces and nephews. 8 great nieces and nephews. 3 great, great nephews. 3 special cousins- Anne, Sylvia and Sandra. Good friends- Wayne and Kathy.
