It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Dora Mary Montgrand on August 18, 2026.

Dora is lovingly survived by her lifelong companion, Lonnie Sinclair; Laurel Sinclair and her daughter, Raine Sinclair; her sister, Flora Taylor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred & Delores Montgrand, Lawrence Montgrand, John & Norma Montgrand, and Lloyd & Lavina Montgrand.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Denise (Raymond) Billette, Nicole (Vernon) Sylvestre, Madeline (Napoleon) Billette, Rhonda (Robert) Opikokew, Kelly (Tommy) Montgrand, Deanna Montgrand, Lauren (Rick) Montgrand, Jenelle Gardiner, Keisha Taylor, Felaine (Kelvin) Bouvier, Felishia (Josh) Windigo, and Danielle (Darren) Yew; nephews, Danny (Brenda) Montgrand, Roy (Shirley) Montgrand, Russell Montgrand, Lester (Krystal) Montgrand, Melvin Iron, and Jordan (Winnie) Montgrand; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Ramona, Tori, Claudine, Harry, Glenn, Denay, Shawna, Jason, Denny, Shannon, Savanah, Julian, Raeah, James, Cali, Jeremy, Delanion, Raven, Tristen, April, Mitchel, Aaron, Joni, Katelin, Demi, Precious, Robert Jr., Kayla, Steven, Kyle, Shylo, Tearyn, Rylee, Mikwan, Wynter, Raelle, Gage, Paige, Leland, Victor, Caydin, Emily, Victoria, Kelvin Jr., Alainna, Kasias, Kahlel and Kiers.

Dora also leaves to mourn her many great-great-nieces and nephews, her aunties and uncles and their families, her many cousins, extended family, and many dear friends whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Dora was predeceased by her parents, Daniel & Mary Montgrand; sisters and brothers-in-law, Therese & Thomas Montgrand, Antionette & John Iron, and Clifford Sylvestre; nieces, Laura Iron and Kym Montgrand; nephews, Steven Ross and Victor Taylor; great-nephew, Baby Russ; and cousin, Joan Billette.
