With heavy hearts, the family of Donald Lalibert-McCallum announce his passing on August 31, 2026, at the age of 69.

Don is lovingly survived by his special friend Darlene Matchee; his ex-wife Flora Laliberte, his children Kaitlin Rose Gunn, Harley Primeau, and Delaney Wolverine; his grandchildren Carson Gunn, Bria Tinker, Arianna Ashing, and Allysa Gunn; his step-children Greg Gelinas (Shawna), Shane Ashing, Dean Ashing (Kate), and Shanya Ashing (Gavin); his mom Marie Agnes Kenny and his dad Johnny Daigneault; his adopted parents Alfred and Felizine Laliberte; his brothers and sisters Fred McCallum, Ernest Laliberte, Ralph Laliberte, and Prissilla McCallum; his godson Blaine Apesis; his godbrothers and godsisters Ernest Wolverine, Edward Aubichon, Agnes D’Jonaire, Christine Gunn, and Clara George; his special nephews and nieces Alfred Dawastare, Jason Dawastare, Ivan Dawastare, Carol Dawastare, Rose Dawastare, Jackie Dawastare, Bernette Dawastare, Joan Dawastare, Joey Paul, Mervin Paul, and Maureen Paul; and his numerous sisters, brothers, aunties, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Don is predeceased by his brothers Cyril Gunn and Gilbert Laliberte; and his sisters Louis (Joseph) Dawastare, Yvonne (Louie) Paul, and Agnes Laliberte. 

A Wake will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 to Saturday, September 5, 2026 at the Patuanak Band Hall in Patuanak, SK. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Patuanak Band Hall in Patuanak, SK. Interment to follow the celebration at the Patuanak Cemetery.
