The family of Denise Rachel Bussière is saddened to announce her passing on January 24, 2026 at the age of 93 years.

Denise was dearly loved and will be missed by her children Adèle (Doug), Gerald (Margaret); grandchildren Nadine (Adam), Kayla, and Matthew; and great-grandchild Jace. 

Denise was born in Zenon Park, where she lived with her parents and fifteen siblings, until she married Émile Bussière in 1952 and moved to Vonda. After the early loss of her husband in 1955, she raised her children on her own, eventually moving to Saskatoon. She was a strong, independent woman whose religious faith and sheer determination allowed her to overcome many challenges throughout her long life. Mom/Grandma had a love for creating and gardening and was an excellent seamstress. 

The family would like to thank all of the staff at Sunnyside for their compassion and loving care in the final years of Denise's life. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date with details entrusted to Cherished Memories of Martensville.
