David Allen Hahn

November 30, 1952 — July 18, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Allen Hahn, who passed away peacefully at home with loved ones after a courageous battle with cancer.

David’s greatest joys in life were his family—his beloved sons Derek (Jen), Brian (Miranda), and Cameron, and his cherished grandchildren Austin, Ayrika, Tannor, Chase, and Alonzo. He was incredibly proud of them and treasured every moment spent with them, especially in retirement.

A dedicated journeyman carpenter for almost 50 years, David was a master of his craft. In retirement, he found joy in building everything from birdhouses to furniture—creations that were shared and appreciated by all who knew him. His work lives on in the homes and hearts of his family and friends.

David had a love for bird watching, target shooting, car racing of any kind, and going for drives long or short it didn’t matter. He also enjoyed good conversation and spending time with his many friends, sharing memories both old and new.

He had a special love for German Shepherds, especially his loyal companions Junkyard and Shiloh, who now rest peacefully by his side. He also shared a special bond with Sanchez, Brian’s family dog, who remained a loyal buddy throughout.

David was predeceased by his father, Homer Hector Hahn, and his mother and stepfather, Mary and Gordon Noble. He is survived by his twin sisters Donna Hainsworth (Chuck) and Darlene Williams (Gary), as well as many nieces, great-nieces, and great-nephews, whom he always enjoyed visiting when he could.

David’s laughter and passion for his friends remain a forever blessed memory. Though he may be gone, he will certainly never be forgotten.
