It is with deep sadness that the family of Darryl St. Germain announces his sudden passing on April 21, 2026 at the age of 61 years.

Darryl was born on September 24, 1964, in Saskatoon to Ray and Laura (nee Arcand) St. Germain. After growing up in Saskatoon and graduating from high school, he dedicated his career to the automotive industry, working for many years in both Saskatoon and Prince Albert. In recent years, Darryl thoroughly enjoyed his retired life at the Métis Elders Lodge in Saskatoon. He found great peace and joy in his community there and especially enjoyed his cherished Sunday visits spent with his mother Laura, his brother Calvin and his sister Sharon.

Darryl is survived by his mother Laura St. Germain, daughter Linda Witchekan, grandchildren Treyton, Isabella, Mason and Teagan, brother Calvin (Jo-Ann) St. Germain, sister Sharon (Randy) Montour, niece Amanda (Neal) Anderson, nephew Jared St. Germain, along with numerous extended family members and friends. Darryl was predeceased by his father Ray St. Germain, niece Rheena McIntyre and many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Cemetery, Batoche, SK followed by a lunch at the Dumont Lodge, Batoche, SK.

In honour of Darryl’s life and his connection to his Métis roots, donations may be directed to the St. Antoine de Padoue Roman Catholic Cemetery (Batoche Cemetery).
