Darren peacefully passed away on May 2, 2026 at the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert, SK. At the age of 53.

Darren was born to Bill and Christa Polischuk on April 16, 1973 in Winnipeg, MB. Shortly after his sister was born, the family moved to Prince Albert, SK. He grew up in PA, then after attending Carlton High school, he moved back to Winnipeg. This was the start of his travels, he lived in many cities across Canada. He then settled in Prince Albert again to be close to his family.

Darren had an incredible passion for plants and gardening. He would put in countless hours taking care of his large garden and beautiful flowers. He was a natural artist and when Halloween came around, he would carve unbelievable masterpieces into pumpkins. Darren also loved cooking, baking and smoking meats. Which he loved feeding his family and friends.

Darren will be dearly missed by his daughters Bretlyn (Chad), Blaze (Shawn), Chaylene (Kennedy) Polischuk and Akiva Wawryk. His two grandchildren Bently and Emery. His mother Christa Polischuk. His sister Angela (Gordon) Harding and their children, Mason, Warren Harding, Leah (Isaiah) Krip and their son, Silas. Along with his wide circle of friends.

Darren is preceded by his father William (Bill) Polischuk (2023). His grandparents and his Oma and Opa's.

A special thank you to his close friends, Dr. G Surkan, Dr. A Surkan, all the health care professionals that helped him and to the Rose Garden Hospice for exceptional end of life care.
