Cherished Memories
Starts at 1:00 pm (Central (no DST) time)
Dale Rodney Mack passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, surrounded by his loving family, after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Dale was born on August 2, 1958, in Saskatoon, where he spent his entire life building deep roots, strong relationships, and a lifetime of memories.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Theresa, with whom he shared nearly 42 years of marriage. Dale and Theresa met in the summer of 1982 and were married in July 1984, beginning a life together grounded in love, partnership, and family. He will also be dearly missed by his children, Kayla (Peter), Preston (Olivia), and Keifer (Kristina), and his eight cherished grandchildren.
Dale is survived by his siblings Elaine (Dave) and David (Kathy), as well as his sisters-in-law Janis and Diane, along with many extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Kay; his sister Daphne (Bill); and his brothers Glenn (Diane) and John (Janis).
Dale spent 37 years working at Redhead Equipment, where he built a long and respected career. For many of those years, he served as a parts manager, becoming well known for his knowledge, reliability, and the relationships he formed along the way. He retired in 2016.
In retirement, Dale embraced the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, working in his yard, and taking pride in keeping things just right. After a day outside, he could often be found relaxing with a drink, his feet up, content in the moment. He also enjoyed watching television—especially cooking shows—and never passed up the chance to gather with family and friends around a backyard fire.
Dale was known for his strong will and stubborn nature, traits that stayed with him right to the end. He also carried a quick wit and a sense of humor that shone through even in difficult times, often sharing lighthearted banter with the nurses and staff at Glengarda, who came to know him well.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Shahid Ahmed for his compassionate care, and to the staff at The Hospice at Glengarda for the exceptional support and kindness shown to Dale and his family in his final weeks.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice at Glengarda in his memory. https://sphfsk.ca/hospice/donate/
