It is with heavy hearts that Cory’s family announces his peaceful passing on September 14, 2026.

Cory was a beloved son to Dan and Vickey Wood, brother to Chris Wood and his wife, Aneta, and a cherished father to his son, Lucas. He was a proud uncle to Zack and Kaytlyn Wood, and a great-uncle to Evelyn Wood.

Cory was loved by many extended family members, including his Aunt Phyliss and his special Aunt Annette Parisien; as well as Aunt Bev Miller, Uncle Jim Fell, Uncle Tim Wood, Uncle Steven Wood, Aunt Terry Mahais, Aunt Sherree Wood, and many cousins and their families.

Cory will always be remembered for his vibrant stories, beautiful smile, and those unmistakable twinkling eyes. He had a wonderful sense of humour and loved nothing more than making the people around him laugh. He enjoyed playing pool, spending time with friends, and sharing stories and laughter with those he cared about.

Cory leaves behind many cherished memories and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His smile, laughter, stories, and the special place he held in the hearts of his family and friends will never be forgotten. Our love for Cory is everlasting, and he will remain in our hearts always.

Cory was predeceased by his grandparents, Edith and Harry Horton and Bill and Adelia Wood; uncles Tom Horton, Jim Horton, Billy Wood, and Ken Wood; and aunt Mary Fell.

A Celebration of Cory’s Life will be held at a later date. Details will be shared once arrangements have been confirmed.
