Christine Paulette Marie Antoski

June 26, 1948 — April 17, 2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Christine Paulette Marie Antoski (Andrest), devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, on April 17, 2024.
Christine had a long, hard fought, painful battle with cancer.
Christine was born June 26, 1948 in Winnipeg Manitoba, attending school and growing up in different parts of the city. She worked at Loblaws and Dominion grocery stores for a number of years until the Antoski Family moved to Martensville, Saskatchewan in 1986 due to Alan's work.  She made many new friends in Martensville despite missing her home.  She had a few odd jobs along the way including working at the rink, caring for the elderly and at the Adobe Inn.
Christine enjoyed time with family, whether it was Sunday suppers, or socializing with friends.  She never forgot her roots and despite living in Saskatchewan, she still cheered for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, which was never short of entertaining.  Christine also enjoyed music and concerts, and supporting her son by coming out to watch him perform on many occasions and dancing the night away. Her love of music will live on forever through countless songs that she would listen to while cleaning the house, relaxing, or out with family and friends.
Christine is survived by her loving husband Alan, son Jason (Heidi), grandchildren; Alisha and Jayden Antoski, mother Edna Andrest, brother Craig Andrest (Darlene), niece Amber (Regan), and nephew Shawn. She was predeceased by her father Joseph “Joe” Andrest (Jan.7, 2001).
The family would like to thank the Cancer Center, St. Paul's Hospital and all the home nurses that helped Christine.

The Funeral Service for Christine will be held Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Cherished Memories Funeral Home located at 591 Centennial Dr. N, Martensville, SK.

These words she spoke sums it up best:
