Carrie Wolverine

December 11, 1979 — February 24, 2024

On this day, we gather in solemn remembrance to honor the life and legacy of a beloved soul, Carrie.

Carrie leaves behind a tapestry of love and cherished memories that will endure through time. She is deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her devoted partner, Devin John, and their beautiful children Evelyn and Evan John, who were the light of her life. Her grandchildren, River Piche and Victor Piche, brought immense joy to her days.

Carrie was a beloved daughter to Jimmy and Caroline Wolverine, a loving sister to Kim Wolverine, Sarah Aubichon, and Jimmy (JR) Wolverine. Her family extended beyond blood, as she was embraced by her godparents Philomine and Raymond George, her goddaughter Sommer Aubichon, and her godbrothers Justin Wolverine and Christen Dawatsare.

In the embrace of her memories are also held Grandma Marie Jeanne John and in-laws Terry & Lawrence John, sister-in-law Trudy & Jordan Bell, along with numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and her Cree Lake Family who shared in her laughter and touched her heart.

As we remember Carrie today with fondness, we also recall those who have gone before her. She is reunited in spirit with Grandpa John John; Grandmas Martia Wolverine and Albertine Wolverine; Uncles Peter John, Toby John, Albert Wolverine; Auntie Anne Laliberte; Nieces Kristen John and Leah Poorman; Nephews Dustin (Tiny) Ironquill and Ryan Montgrand; Cousins Evelyn Laliberte, Clifford Laliberte, Brandon Wolverine, Garry Black, Mark Wolverine; Godbrother Peter George; Step Grandparents Clement John and Cardine John - all watching over us from above.

A Funeral Service to honor Carrie's life will be held on Saturday,March 2nd at 1:00 pm at Patuanak St. Louis Parish officiated by Father Josi Chinthamalla MSFS.

In our grief may we also find solace in knowing that Carrie's kindness and love will continue to guide us. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was dearly loved by so many.
