The family of Bryan Striemer is devastated to announce his passing on June 30th, 2025, in Saskatoon, after his incredibly brave fight with cancer. He was born in Saskatoon, on February 11, 1978
Bryan was a talented artist. His sculptures, paintings, and cartoons were valued by those lucky enough to be gifted with one. His curiosity and love of learning made him such an interesting person to talk to, and his dry sense of humor caught many by surprise and left them with fond memories and chuckles. He and his brother loved to engage in a war of words. It almost always ended in a draw. He was a gamer and a techy. He fixed his mother’s computers, tablets, and phones with unending patience.
Bryan loved animals and they loved him. From his first bunny, Blackie (who wasn’t fond of anyone but Bryan) to the family dog, Bo, who insisted on sleeping beside and on top of Bryan at night, to the last family bunny, Leo who adored his “Uncle Bryan”. He was surrounded by animals. We imagine a stop at the Rainbow Bridge to pick up all the animals was chaotic joy.
Bryan was predeceased by his grandparents, Allan and Caroline Cargill, and his father, Lawrence Striemer. He is missed and so loved by his mother Marilyn Cargill, his brother Allan Cargill, and his sister-in-law Kimberly Cargill. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Cherished Memories took care of our Bryan and our family after his passing with care and respect, and we will always be grateful.
