It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Brittany “Britt” Krawchuk, age 30, of Saskatoon, who left us on February 25, 2026, after a lifetime battle with complex and deeply misunderstood medical conditions.

Born on September 28, 1995, Brittany brought immense light into the lives of everyone she met. From early childhood, she lived with extraordinary medical challenges, including an arachnoid cyst, repeated chronic Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) leaks, severe connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), and spinal cord damage. Yet she faced each day with unwavering courage and resilience.

Despite the limitations of her illness, Britt never allowed her circumstances to diminish her spirit, her wit, or her boundless capacity for love. She carried a passionate beauty that radiated despite her suffering. Even when confined to a bed, she refused to let her condition define her. Her positivity, strength, and remarkable ability to bring a smile to others touched all who knew her.

Britt showed us the meaning of unconditional love, the importance of family, and the value of what truly matters in life. Even as her body began to fail her, she chased adventure with courage — travelling when it was hard, jumping off cliffs despite the toll, and making it to New York City to watch the ball drop, though simply being there required immense strength. As her disease progressed, it took the adventures she loved, but never her spirit.

Along her journey, we were blessed not only by the people she knew but by the kindness of strangers who showed Brittany compassion and love in countless ways. We remain forever grateful for the community that surrounded her.

Britt is survived by her loving parents, Dawn Krawchuk (Jeremy Hamilton) and Neal Krawchuk (Kathy); her sister, Sarah Krawchuk (Brendan O’Brien); her nephew, Owen O’Brien; and her brother, Alex Krawchuk (Abby Dutchak). She is also lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Dale and Stella McShane; Auntie Leanne (Rob and cousin Corey); Uncle Ryan (Laura Baptist) (Claire, Ella, and Jase); Auntie Rita and Uncle Randy; and her cousins Stefanie, Kayla, and Nicolas. She will be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

We are devastated to lose her so soon. Her loss will profoundly affect everyone who truly knew and loved her for the beautiful person she was — and will always be. Britt’s final days were spent surrounded by those who loved her dearly, a gift we will forever cherish.

We carry her close in our hearts. She will always be loved, as fiercely as she loved us.

The Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 2:00pm at Cherished Memories Funeral Services, 591 Centennial Dr. N. Martensville.
