With heavy hearts, the family of Brianna Stella Marie Favel "Northern Woman" announce her passing on May 17, 2026. She will be deeply loved always and forever missed by all who knew her, loved her, and were touched by her life.

Daughter - Aria Favel

Siblings: Desmond Favel, Stephanie Favel, Abbie Quewezance (Calvin), Mitch Favel, Alvena Straightnose, Albert Jo Straightnose, Stevie-Ray Straightnose, Lambert “Cliffy” Straightnose, Kashtin (Aaliyah) Quewezance, and Bettina Favel

Special nieces nephews – Mia, Joyhanna, Stella, Norman, Skylar, Lil Ray, Azariah, Nova, Khalli, Kyrie

Godparents – Tracy Favel-Bear and Steven Fraser

And all of her Aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Wake will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026 to Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the Keeseekoose Band Hall.

A Funeral Service for Brianna will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00pm at St. Philips Roman Catholic Church in Keeseekoose First Nation with Cuthbert Keshane officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Keeseekoose First Nation Cemetery. 

Brianna's pallbearers are Kayden Quewezance, Brody Kaiswatum, Aiden Keshane, Ty Keshane, Ralph Keshane lll, and Isaac Musqua.

Brianna's honourary pallbearers are Taneisha Cool, Aleigha Braun, Keela Campeau, Keeriya Thomas, Raven neapatung, Aleigha Musqua, Morgan Straightnose, Justine Durocher, Katie Sasakamoose, and all of her uncles, aunties, cousins, friends, and those who knew and loved her!
